To have two terrific people in your life who selflessly love and support you is very lucky. They put an amazing roof over your head, feed you, look after you and for that we are certainly grateful to them and whatever we do, it won’t be enough to pay them back. Despite all the good things, there are some utterly mortifying things about living with parents, especially in your 20s. You don’t have to pay the rent, but you aren’t safe in your own bedroom Thanks to dad who allows you to live in for free without any worry as you aren’t the one paying the bills of phone calls or internet. But there are times when you don’t feel safe in your own bedroom. Yes, I know porn is banned in India but still you can’t watch Game of thrones with your mom and dad, right? So you feel afraid while turning on Netflix on your immovable pc because anytime your parents can enter in without warning. Night-outs and booze? When all your friends and significant others are partying till 4 am in the morning and there you are sitting at home having booze with your hommies, oh, I meant water, chilled glasses of water:) You know that asking your mom for a night-out will be a terrible thing to do, you will get that death-stare as if you’ve committed a crime, even if she allows, just wait for the numerous number of calls ruining your night. Home-cooked meals, but dishes? Alright, I agree nothing can defeat getting free food from home, you can sip a warm cup of coffee in the morning, pack some delicacies for lunch and when you arrive home at night, you’ll get your favourite dishes right on your table.
